Q: Can’t I identify Florida bids myself?
Perhaps, but it would certainly not be easy. You would have to actively search and subscribe to numerous subscription services, government publications and complex databases — some of which you may need to search manually. You’ll probably have to read lots and lots of pages of federal, state, county and municipal information thoroughly in order to filter out a lot of irrelevant and extraneous information. You may need to scan lots of consumer-unfriendly legal solicitations, deal with lots of bureaucracy and sort through lots of dead ends. Life as you know may change, forever. We at FloridaBids.com do most of the tedious researching legwork for you. Specifically, we help you keep abreast of the latest RFP’s (Requests For Proposal), Surplus Sales and bid opportunities — in your area of expertise.
The bid opportunities will reach you in a concise, personalized, easy-to-read email. This information will contain everything you need to request the actual solicitation or RFP from the issuing city, county, state or federal department. Leads we send may contain a web link from which you can download the specific details, the buying agent’s name, contact phone number and/or extension. Each bid opportunity will typically be paired to your specialization request and will be matched as closely as possible to the type of bid opportunity you are seeking. Obviously, each opportunity is unique and some categories are easier to accommodate than others, but if the relayed information is clearly not on target, simply let us know within 24 hours and we will be happy to credit your account with a new Florida bid opportunity, up to a maximum of 3 times per year.
Q: How often will Florida bids and opportunities arrive?
It depends on your area of expertise and the specific categories in which you are interested. Some bid types appear frequently, others rarely. It also depends on any restrictions or filters you impose, if any. Your account will be debited for a credit after each lead has been dispatched to you.
Q: Can I limit the number of Florida bids and leads sent to me?
Yes, you may. We realize that getting inundated with bid opportunities may not be considered a good thing. For this reason, we allow a limit to be requested on leads equaling whatever number you specify and for whatever time period you desire. Simply relay your throttling request to your lead researcher who will try their best to accommodate.
Q: What if I am not happy with the quality of a lead?
Simply let us know within 24 hours and we will credit your account with a new bid opportunity. This can be done once with each lead with a maximum of three times per year.
Q: What if I change my email address?
Just let us know. We try our best to accommodate your ongoing communication needs with Florida bids and opportunities.
Q: What if I offer a trade service, such as construction, waterproofing, road paving, road striping, embroidery, electrical work or air conditioning repair and would like to provide these services to the government?
Not usually a problem. There are typically many Florida bids and opportunities that call for these and other such labor services. Click here for a sample list of categories.
Q: What if I sell tangible items such as tires, tractors, computers, motors, copy machines, television sets, etc?
Bids for such items are regularly solicited by the State of Florida and its various agencies and municipalities. We will try our best to research and identify possible Florida bids and opportunities for your products and commodities. Click here for a sample list of categories.
Q: I am licensed to sell insurance. Can I participate?

Q: I am a licensed real estate agent. Can I participate?
Absolutely. Millions of square feet feet are rented, purchased, subleased and sold by Florida entities annually. Click here for a list of service categories.
Q: Can you guarantee that I will win a bid?
No, of course not. Beware of any bidding service that does. Our job as a bid-researcher is solely to assist you in identifying Florida-based lead opportunities in your company’s area of expertise. Obviously, each opportunity will have unique requirements. You will need to take it from there, however, we can assure you that if you do not know about an upcoming opportunity and do not submit a bid proposal, then, you definitely will not win.
Q: Might a Florida bid opportunity have special requirements or qualifications that my firm may need to meet in order to be qualified?
Yes, and that is why close communication with your bid researcher will be crucial, allowing for opportunities to be identified. The researcher may have specific questions for you and your quick interaction will be an integral part of the processes. Some bids may require specific licensing and/or a special expertise. Also, deadlines will typically be involved. Often, these are rapidly approaching and sometimes it may involve an exceptionally short notice period. Sometimes, in-person mandatory orientations may be required and travel and hotel accommodations may be necessary. Not all meetings may be available remotely. Moreover, there may be fees associated in order to follow up, to submit or even to obtain a bid packet from the issuing agency. Among other costs, you may incur internal costs to prepare, to assemble and to accommodate the bid itself.
Q: What is the size of a typical Florida bid opportunity?
Florida bids and opportunities can run from hundreds of dollars to millions of dollars. FloridaBids.Com makes no representation as to the size or value of prospective bid opportunities of the future.

Q: What is your refund policy?
A significant part of the work we do is upfront including researching your company, its website and those of successful competitors to determine the best types of leads and opportunities to send. As such, we cannot offer monetary refunds, however, if ever a lead does not meet your approval, simply let us know within 24 hours and we will credit your account with a replacement bid opportunity. This can be done once with each lead with a maximum of three times per year.
Q: What if I stop being responsive, become evasive and/or fail to answer questions asked by my personal bid researcher?
If the bid researcher from FloridaBids.Com is trying to help you win bids, it is anticipated and expected that you will be cooperative and forthcoming by truthfully and expeditiously answering any questions related to achieving this goal. Should the FloridaBids.Com researcher deem you to be evasive, uncooperative and/or unresponsive, your subscription may be suspended or terminated with no refund entitlement.
